Penang- Deepavali weekend

Monday is a national holiday in singapore - Deepavali so I took the opportunity to take another trip (actually the holiday is on Tuesday but the government decided to change it to monday to make it more convenient- Deepavali is a hindu holiday celebrating the trimumph of good over evil. I think moving the holiday like this is the equivelent of moving the day of Chinese New Year for the Chinse or Christmas for Christians). So for the holiday weekend I'm Penang, Malaysia with friends. We arrived yesterday and immediatly it began raining... seems I have bad luck- but today it's sunny already and it should be good to get out and look around the island
